The pattern was developed from a blank page and refined through repeated drafting, hand-molding, and field use. Influenced by the standards of serious 1911 builders, the goal was comfort and a carry angle that remains stable while running, riding, and living with a full-size pistol. Cut, molded, stitched, and finished entirely by hand using traditional American gunleather methods.
Premium vegetable-tanned horsehide, selected for density, structure, and longevity
Fully hand-stitched using thick beeswaxed rope cord in a traditional saddle stitch
Hand-oiled and nourished to preserve grain and natural character
Edges hot-stuffed & burnished
Select between a purposeful rear cant of approximately 10-15 degrees, or a near vertical straight-up cant. Developed through wear testing for active movement, seated carry, and motorcycle riding. The pistol rides balanced and secure through geometry and leather structure alone, without straps or mechanical retention.
